1. Overview and who is running the contest

The Paritt Arena monthly leaderboard contest (the "Contest") is operated by Paritt ("we", "us"). It offers prizes to top-ranked participants on eligible Paritt Arena leaderboards for a given contest period. These rules govern the Contest. By joining a ranked, prize-eligible Arena challenge you accept these rules. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win.

The Contest is a skill-based competition, not a lottery or game of chance: winners are determined by measured performance on defined benchmark work, not by random draw. The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

2. Prize pools, schedule, and currency

Prizes are awarded from prize pools that are funded and administered entirely by Paritt. A prize pool is an admin-funded contest budget. It is not user-earned Points converted to cash, and it is not a paid bounty, wage, or fee for services.

  • The default contest cadence is monthly. Each contest period is a calendar window announced in advance.
  • Each prize pool has a fixed total amount and currency set by a Paritt operator before the period locks. Pool sizes at launch are intentionally small and may be modest.
  • The current period's pool amount, currency, eligible leaderboard, window, and number of prizes are shown on the Arena Prizes page. The Prizes page, not this document, is the source of truth for the current pool.
  • Paritt may add special-challenge pools with their own windows, and may change, pause, or discontinue prize pools for future periods. A pool is only a commitment once it is funded and locked for a specific period.
  • If a pool for a period is never funded and locked, no prize is owed for that period.

3. Who is eligible

To be eligible to win a prize you must, at the time the contest period locks, meet all of the following:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your place of residence, whichever is greater.
  • Reside in a region where Paritt currently offers the Contest. Eligible regions are listed on the Arena Prizes page and are limited at launch. If your region is not listed, you may still compete on Arena leaderboards but you are not eligible to win a prize.
  • Hold a single, active Paritt account in good standing, registered with accurate information, including the region and birth year collected at signup.
  • Have accepted these Prize & Contest Rules, the Terms of Service, the Privacy Notice, and the applicable telemetry consent.
  • Not be an employee, contractor, or immediate family or household member of Paritt, where excluded by applicable law or to avoid a conflict of interest.

Eligibility is also subject to the per-leaderboard validity and conduct requirements in Section 4. Determining eligibility — including age, region, account standing, and abuse review — is at Paritt's reasonable discretion. Where local law prohibits or restricts a contest of this kind, the Contest is void in that jurisdiction and no prize is offered there.

4. How winners are determined

  • Prizes are awarded against a leaderboard snapshot that a Paritt operator locks at the end of the contest period. Once a period is locked, the paid outcome is fixed: later reviews can create corrections and audit records but cannot silently change who was paid.
  • Rankings use a conservative lower-bound scoring method with a confidence requirement, not a naive average. This favors consistent, well-evidenced performance over a single lucky run.
  • Only valid, in-conduct runs count. Runs that fail Paritt's validity gates — for example fingerprint mismatch, capture loss, or clock skew — and runs flagged for review do not feed prize awards.
  • A participant must meet the snapshot's minimum-attempts and minimum-confidence thresholds to be ranked for a prize. Participants who do not meet them are skipped, and the next eligible participant moves up.
  • Each pool defines how the prize is shared — for example a single top prize, or an even split across the top N places. The distribution for the current pool is shown on the Prizes page.

Every prize award, lock, and payout is recorded in an operator audit trail. Awards are recorded against a public participant identifier; Paritt does not publish your account email or internal identifiers as part of prize results.

5. Prizes are not employment; Points have no cash value

Winning a prize does not create an employment, contractor, agency, or partnership relationship with Paritt. A prize is a discretionary contest award recognizing leaderboard performance. It is not a wage, salary, bounty, or payment for services, and competing in the Contest is not work performed for Paritt.

Points are a closed in-platform unit with no cash value. Points cannot be bought, sold, transferred, or redeemed for money, and are not a financial instrument or stored-value product. A prize is never a conversion of your Points into cash; it is a separate, admin-funded award. Paritt does not operate paid bounties or cash payouts for benchmark work at V1.

Winners are responsible for any taxes that may apply to a prize they receive. Paritt may require a winner to verify identity, age, and eligibility, and to provide information needed to deliver a prize or to meet a legal or tax-reporting obligation, before a prize is delivered. How a prize is delivered is described with the pool on the Prizes page.

6. Disqualification and forfeiture

Paritt may disqualify a participant from a prize, before or after the contest period locks, including for the following reasons:

  • An invalid run, or runs flagged or corrected by review, that affected the result.
  • Cheating, automation passed off as human work, collusion, or manipulation of telemetry, validity gates, or rankings.
  • Operating more than one account, or entering on behalf of another person, to gain a contest advantage.
  • Providing false eligibility information, including age or region, or failing eligibility verification.
  • Violating the Terms of Service or these rules, or abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful conduct connected to the Contest.

When a participant is disqualified, any associated prize is withheld or, if already delivered, is subject to reversal or recovery. A disqualified place may be re-awarded to the next eligible participant or left unawarded, at Paritt's reasonable discretion. Every disqualification is recorded in the operator audit trail with a reason.

7. Disputes, appeals, and changes

If you believe a prize result or disqualification is wrong, you may raise a prize dispute through Paritt support within 30 days of the result being published. Paritt will review the audit record and respond. Paritt's determination of contest results is final once that review is complete.

Paritt may update these rules. A material change is published as a new version of this document with a new effective date, and applies to contest periods that begin after it takes effect. Paritt may suspend or end the Contest if required by law or by events outside its reasonable control; in that case any pool already funded and locked for an in-progress period will still be honored for that period.
